Founded by Yvonne Janssen, the boutique was inspired by her beloved youngest daughter, Angelique Janssen-Fletcher, a graceful model whose passion for fashion left a lasting impression.

After countless hours spent searching every mall for the perfect evening dress to support Angelique’s modeling dreams, Yvonne decided to turn those memories into something meaningful for others. “My goal was simple,” she says. “To save moms time and bring a little glitz and glamour to our own community — without the need to travel to Durban North.”

Although Be Beautiful Boutique was born from deep love and, more recently, profound loss following Angelique’s passing on 7 February 2025, the boutique continues to shine — not just as a business, but as a legacy.
