Karen le Roux Physiotherapy is situated in the heart of Amanzimtoti. We provide evidence based hands-on treatment in conjunction with individualized rehabilitation.

We focus on patient centered care and we treat a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions including headaches, neck pain, back pain, nerve impingement, rotator cuff impingement, arthritis, sports injuries as well as rehabilitation post-operatively e.g. hip and knee replacements, spinal fusion, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction to name just a few.

No. Physiotherapists are first line health care practitioners which means you do not need a referral from a doctor.
A referral would only be needed if your medical aid specifically requires it.

How long is an appointment?

Our appointments are 45 minutes long. This includes an assessment, hands-on treatment as well as rehabilitation and is supplemented with dry needling, strapping and electrotherapy when necessary.

Can I have physiotherapy when I am pregnant?

Absolutely. Physiotherapy is a safe and effective form of treatment for musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy.
