The fourth edition of the Best of George Readers’ Choice Awards once again celebrated the businesses, brands and people that make our community exceptional.
Thousands of nominations were received across a wide range of categories, with local favourites competing alongside established businesses and exciting newcomers for the coveted Best of George title. Following an enthusiastic response from the community, a total of 29 134 votes were cast across 157 subcategories.
The competition was closely contested, with 158 local businesses earning the recognition of being voted the Best of George.
To ensure that the results accurately reflect the voices of our community and that all voting rules were adhered to, duplicate and otherwise ineligible votes were removed before the final results were independently audited and confirmed.
Congratulations to every winner, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated, voted for and supported the businesses and individuals that help make George such a special place.
