Winning Best of the Bluff for four consecutive years is an honour that means a great deal to me, because it reflects the trust and support of the community we serve every day.
When I took over Sav-On Dental in 2012, we were a small team of three: myself, a receptionist, and an assistant. Today, in 2026, we have grown into a team of 14 across two practices — our original practice on Olsen Road and our second branch at Marine Drive Medical Centre.
That growth would never have been possible without my team. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to every person who has been part of the Sav-On Dental journey. Their commitment, care, hard work, and belief in what we are building have helped shape the practice into what it is today.
When I first started, my father gave me advice that has stayed with me throughout my career. He said, “Son, if you take someone’s money, give them 150%, and you will always be busy.”
That became the foundation of how I wanted to practise. For me, dentistry was never just about income. It was about service, responsibility, and treating people with dignity. It was about making sure every patient felt seen, heard, and cared for.
The Bluff community has been phenomenal to us. Over the years, I have watched children grow into adults, teenagers get married and start families of their own, and generations continue to place their trust in us. Sadly, I have also attended funerals of patients who meant a great deal to me, because our patients are not just patients — they become part of the Sav-On Dental family.
I am proud not only to lead Sav-On Dental, but to be part of a team that genuinely cares about people and believes in quality, cost-effective healthcare.
To the Bluff community, thank you. To the Southlands SUN, thank you for celebrating local businesses and the people behind them.
Winning this award four years in a row is something truly special. It reminds us that we are doing something right, and it motivates us to keep raising our standards.
