1st – SOI 55 Thai Eatery

SOI 55 Thai Eatery took top spot, bringing the flavours of Bangkok to the heart of Ballito.

Located on Eat Street at Ballito Lifestyle Centre, the restaurant specialises in Thai street food with a contemporary twist.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, owner and head chef Goo Imthawin brings his Thai heritage to a menu featuring dishes such as Pad See Ew and the popular Angry Chicken Curry.

For diners looking for bold Thai flavours, SOI 55 offers a taste of Bangkok without leaving Ballito.

2nd – Yori Oki Sushi & Grill

Yori Oki Sushi & Grill claimed second place with its Japanese fusion menu and relaxed Eat Street setting.

Also located at Ballito Lifestyle Centre, Yori Oki offers sushi alongside dishes ranging from wagyu and bao buns to other Japanese-inspired favourites.

Diners can eat at the restaurant or order online, making it an option for both a meal out and dinner at home.

3rd – Simply Asia

Simply Asia took third place, offering familiar Thai and Asian favourites from its restaurant on Level 2 at the Ballito Junction food court.

The menu ranges from traditional Pad Thai and crispy wontons to vegetarian and vegan options, catering for a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.

Whether you are after noodles, curry or a meat-free meal, there is plenty to choose from.
