As temperatures finally start to cool in Ballito, the town’s most exciting annual business recommendation competition is about to heat up.

The North Coast Courier Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards returns for its fifth edition in April and promises to be bigger than ever. Last year, more than 257 000 votes were cast across 234 categories, ensuring almost every business on the coast was in the running for the coveted annual award.

The revamped Best of Ballito website now features a dedicated business directory, showcasing the top three businesses in each category while significantly boosting their visibility on Google search. For recognised businesses, this translates into a stronger online presence – making every vote more valuable than ever before.

Before voting opens however, the nominations phase will kick off on April 1. This gives residents a chance to make sure their favourite businesses are in the running, as well as offering businesses the opportunity to check they are listed in the correct categories.

Exciting prizes are once again up for grabs this year, including a two night stay and spa treatment at Sala Beach House worth R30 690, a stay and couple’s spa pamper valued at R8 980 at Canelands Beach Club and Spa, prizes from Mins Breakdown Service & Panel Beaters worth R6 000 and a comprehensive eye test and prescription glasses from Vision Works Ballito valued at R5 000. Participants who opt in and complete the required nominations and voting will be entered into the draw.
