From a small school with just 62 students to a thriving community of more than 1 600, Ashton International College Ballito’s story is one of vision, growth and an unwavering commitment to excellence. For 25 years, the school has grown alongside Ballito and the North Coast.
Their journey began as Seaforth College before evolving into the Ashton known today – a school built on strong Christian foundations, shaped by generations of families and driven by the belief that “Excellence Belongs to the Zealous.”
Today, Ashton is proud to have been recognised by the wider community as a Best of Ballito winner across seven categories.
The school claimed top honours for Best Private High School and Best Private Primary School, while The Ashlings was named Best Crèche/Playschool, Best Independent Pre-Primary School and Best Pre-Primary School. Ashton Swimming Academy (ASA) received the award for Best Sports Club/Coaching, and Thando Drumming at Ashton Ballito was recognised for Best Music Lessons.
The school thanked everyone who took the time to vote, saying the recognition represents far more than an award. It reflects the relationships built with families, businesses and the wider North Coast community over many years.
