Voting in the 2026 Best of Pretoria Readers’ Choice Awards officially opened on Tuesday, June 23.
Our readers now have until August 7 to vote for their favourites.
For more than a decade, the Best of Pretoria Reader’s Choice Awards has proudly celebrated local excellence by putting a spotlight on the businesses, services and public figures Pretoria residents value most.
In March, we opened our 2026 nomination period with over 250 categories to better represent the full spectrum of Pretoria life. From restaurants and cafés to health and wellness providers; home services such as plumbers, electricians and builders; retail and beauty; automotive care; education and childcare; and family-friendly leisure options. These categories map what matters most to residents in terms of convenience, value and quality. Several categories celebrate Pretoria’s unique lifestyle, highlighting top spots for coffee, braais and weekend outings.

This year we are excited to announce that those voting in the competition once again stand a chance to win some amazing prizes just for casting their votes.
