Clinching two category wins in The Best of Durban Readers’ Awards 2023 has astounded the team of the Shongweni Farmer’s & Craft Market that is situated in the Shongweni Valley of KwaZulu-Natal. Winning the Best Outdoor Market and the Best Family Outing categories sums it up that this destination is certainly worth vesting.

Commenting on the Shongweni market’s wins, market manager Vanessa Fraden thanked Caxton Media for creating the competition. “Thank you to everyone who voted and lastly thank you to our fellow competitors who help make Durban great!”

Vanessa said that Shongweni is not just a market but a destination where friends and family come to connect in a space that is safe and filled with loads of opportunity for a fun morning out. 

“We are open every Saturday 7am to 1pm rain or shine.
